Blog from my phone?!?!

Yes please!!! Now that I can blog from my phone and use pics from my phone , I am so excited I think I might pee my pants. (or peeded... As Isabella says ;))

Last night I was tucking her into bed and she said to me, "mommy, don't kiss me on da lips, kiss me right here (as she pointed to her cheek) cuz I don't want you to mess up my wipstick." she is such a wicked funny girl. I've never met a more annoying person that I love to bits and pieces ;).

This summer has been SO much fun. I would be lying if I said I wasn't ready for the kids to go back to school, but it has been great to have late nights, travel, do swim team, and have no schedule whatsoever (although that part has taken a toll on my very structured 10 year old... Who btw today the girls discovered she had armpit hair and they thought it was HILARIOUS!!! I almost peeded a little at the fact they were cracking up so much over it).

Currently we are at the cabin ENJOYING THE RAIN AND COOLER weather, whilst daddy is in Austin working hard (more like hardly working). It's been fun to leave the valley and just be with the girls.

We have been on walks, to the playground, prepared delicious food (M found a recipe book), working in our workbooks, doing our exercises, watching movies, staying up late, and of course visiting the cabin store ;). Best of all, I come to a clean cabin and clean it when I leave, with not much in between... Though we must keep up tiny objects bc little S has been rolling and turning all over the floor and putting said tiny objects in her mouth... Oh dear what have I done?!?! I've started OVER!!!!

Speaking of little S, she is sure a gem. Love her.

Oh dear... Baby crying. Guess I'll get back to this later but I'm SO stoked I can do this from my phone!!!

Not sure where these pictures will land but here are a few for your enjoyment.

When I grow up

Yesterday if you would have asked Mikenna what she wanted to be when she grows up she would have said, "I want to be a mom and a nurse."

Today during church Scarlett peeded and barfeded and drooled all over me. It was a little bit awesome. She said, " mommy I don't think I want to be a mom anymore." It was even more of a deal breaker when I told her that moms cook food (that nobody eats) clean toilets, scrub floors, do laundry (again and again and again) and work 24/7.

She was pretty confident that she "really didn't want to be a mom anymore." lol. It was VERY VERY VERY hard not to peeded in my pants.

And those are the moments that make being a mom worth it ;).

Someday, just not today

Oh my sweet little man, I cannot believe that it has been 4 years since I held you in my arms for the last time, kissed your sweet little cheeks, and squished your chubby little legs. Time has gone by so fast, yet so slow at the same time. The hustle and bustle of life seems to take over most of the time. I find myself (ALOT) wondering how I would be managing the 5 of you all at the same time. Maybe I would be more looney than I am now, it certainly would be justified on all accounts.
It seems like yesterday I left you crying in my sister's arms. I should have come back for you. I still remember....

Your beautiful blues are forever etched into my soul.
So many birthdays we will have to make up for. You would be 5. I look around at all the other 5 year olds and wonder if you would be right there with them, playing, fighting, yelling, and running about. It doesn't seem fair that you are on a mission and I don't get my phone call. I wish I could talk to you on important days like Mother's Day and Christmas. It would sure make the time go faster... maybe.
And so many swimming days too. I often wonder where you are and what you are doing. Sometimes I feel you near, watching over me and your sisters and dad. I long to hold you. I long to watch you grow up. I will someday. I know, but sometimes someday feels so very far away.
It isn't very often that I think back to that very awful day, going over the events in my mind. When I do, it is almost like I am reliving it. I remember long hours crying in my pillow, or staring at the ceiling while talking on the phone, or not wanting to get out of bed. It seems like yesterday, yet like forever.
I miss you so much. Time has healed some of my broken heart, but a piece of it still aches for you. I love you my little blue eyed boy. And I miss you so much that it hurts down to my core. Someday I will hold you in my arms again. Someday I will kiss your chubby cheeks. Someday I will raise you. Someday there will no more somedays. Someday little man. Someday, just not today.
